Privacy notice

This notice explains how I collect, use and protect your personal information when you use this website, in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

Who I am

This website belongs to WaZi Meegoda, licensed salesperson with Harcourts Ignite Realty (Ignite Realty Limited Licensed Agent REAA 2008), Harcourts Manukau, 654 Great South Road, Manukau City Centre 2104. Questions about your information: wazi.r@harcourts.co.nz or 022 464 9631.

What I collect

• Contact form: your name, phone number or email, the topic you choose and your message.
• Appraisal requests: the details you enter in our Google Form, such as your name, contact details and property address.
• Calls and emails: whatever you choose to share with me directly.

I only collect what I need to respond to you. You don’t have to give me any information, but I can’t reply without a way to contact you.

How I use it

To reply to your enquiry, arrange an appraisal or viewing, and help you buy or sell property. I won’t sell your information or add you to a mailing list without your permission. Your information may be shared with Harcourts Ignite Realty, as I work under its licence, and kept in its client records as required by real estate law.

Where it’s stored

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (United States). Contact form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify Forms and emailed to my Harcourts email address. Appraisal requests are stored by Google (Google Forms). These providers may store information outside New Zealand; I use reputable providers with appropriate security safeguards. Like most hosts, Netlify may keep basic technical logs (such as IP addresses) to run and secure the site.

How long I keep it

Only as long as I need it for the purpose you gave it, or as long as the law requires. I then delete it from the form service.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you and ask me to correct it. Email wazi.r@harcourts.co.nz. If you’re not happy with how I’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

Cookies and the Facebook embed

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. The home page offers recent posts from my Facebook Page using Meta’s official Page Plugin, but nothing loads from Facebook unless you select “Show Facebook posts”. When you do, your browser connects to Facebook (Meta Platforms), which may set or read cookies and receive information such as your IP address, browser details and the page you are viewing, whether or not you have a Facebook account. See the Meta Privacy Policy and Meta Cookies Policy. Links to Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, RateMyAgent and my Harcourts profile are plain links and share nothing until you click them.
